At Haverim thousands of patients receive the medication they can’t afford – every month, free of charge. We currently provide over 7,500 chronic patients with lifesaving medication, gathered from 1,000 collection points throughout the country. After rigorous sorting by professional pharmacists, the medication is delivered directly to the patients via courier or registered mail. Expired drugs are sent to professional (green) disposal. 450 packages of medicine are delivered every day to patients nation-wide.

Our mission is to ensure that every person receives the medical treatment they need but cannot afford.  Since 2003, Haverim Le’Refuah (Friends for Health) has been doing that — providing hope, healing and saving lives.

At Chaverim we share a goal for ‘Tikun Olam’; to improve and repair our world by offering a warm, personal and professional service to any human being who requests our help. We are dedicated to helping people in pain who cannot afford the life-saving medication or medical care they need. Our project of gathering unused medication and then distributing it for free is unique in the world and has improved the lives of countless people all over Israel. Our team of volunteers share a commitment to make a difference and change the lives of thousands.
